This year's course at the Centre for Cultural Studies on Science and Technology in China at TU Berlin concluded on 21 February 2026 with the workshop ‘Intercultural Communication’. The topics covered in the 2025/2026 winter semester were:
Philosophical traditions, history, society and economics
Technology, digitalisation, innovation
Urbanisation, ecology, climate
Research and higher education policy, foreign, cultural and education policy
Workshop on intercultural communication
In addition to specialist lectures by renowned experts in the field of Chinese studies, there were lively discussions with the participants.
Lecturers: Tania Becker, Ágota Révész, Alexander Brown, Thomas König, Katja Levy, HAN Zheng, Till Ammelburg, Michaela Böhme, Eva Sternfeld, Johannes Küchler, Susanne Stein, Sigrun Abels, XIAN Peixin, Markus Taube, Wolfgang Röhr, Thorben Pelzer, Helwig Schmidt-Glintzer, Dr. Elke Spielmanns-Rome
All participants, including Oliver Völckers from BeST Sensor GmbH, were presented with a certificate at the end of the course.
