Presentation: Using Zephyr for Wastewater Monitoring with Signal Processing

Berlin-based BeST Berliner Sensortechnik GmbH has pioneered a mobile sensor solution to monitor wastewater pumps that service Deutsche Bahn's high-speed ICE trains.

BeST's founder and CEO, Oliver Völckers, explains why they chose the Zephyr RTOS for this project, how its signal processing works, and why conventional machine learning was not sufficient for this application. The pump monitor transmits real-time system status updates to the railway operator via LTE-M connectivity.
